I love tools. I caught the DIY bug some years ago and never looked back. There's something rewarding about fixing something you would otherwise throw away, or, better yet, upgrading something beyond its original capabilities. I learned quickly on that having the right tool can be the difference between "job complete" and "I broke something important and now the job is three times as long and four times as expensive." I recently picked up an impact gun but didn't have any drivers for it. You don't want to use regular drivers in an impact gun or you could break them, and they can break catastrophically (think hot shards of metal flying around your face), so I had my eyes open for a set, so when I saw this listing I had to try it. The drivers arrived in a plain box and contained two packages, the regular drivers in one container and the nut drivers in another. They arrived shrink-wrapped and in near-mint condition. This is an awesome set! I didn't realize how many nut drivers were in this kit, but it pretty much covers the entire size range, at least in sizes that I come across. The drivers are all excellent, the fit and finish is spot-on with no burrs or sharp edges. They all have the "feel" of impact drivers, the type of metal feels and looks different than with regular drivers. Overall I'm thrilled with this impact driver kit. It has pretty much every driver I'll need for most of the projects I do, it all comes in cases, there are separate cases for the drivers and the nut drivers, and all of it just feels heavy-duty.

While these aren’t some high priced name brand nut drivers, they seem like they could be. First, there are 38 pieces in total which is terrific. They are all 1/4” hex quick change hits. 8 are shorter SAE bits, 12 are shorter metric bits. All 20 of those are magnetic. Then there are 13 deep drivers. 5 of them are SAE, 5 are metric, and 3 are combination SAE / Metric. The is also a deep wing nut, cup hook, eye bolt driver. Finally there are 3 (1/4, 3/8, 1/2) socket adapters and a 6” extension. One thing I really like is the ability to get my fingers in and get the hits out of the case. Often the gaps are so small, I can get my fingers in to get ahold of them. That function alone makes them easier to use than many. They appear to be really well made and I expect them to be pretty durable. Often times you miss little details and then discover them down the road if ever. The lid to this case is clear so it’s easy to see through and locate the hit you need but the hidden feature is the lid rotates a full 360 degrees and stores in the bottom on the case when in use. This is a terrific feature and extremely functional. Often times you simply don’t have the room to fully open it and you’re constantly opening and reopening to change bits. Flipping this under and storing out of the way is genius. The case is 13” long and 8 1/2” wide.

The magnetic makeup is a very important feature, it’s like a 3rd hand while working in tight places. Due to the US, which is slowly transitioning into adopting a changeover to the metric system, SAE will still be a part of in may ways. This set has so much to offer and can be used in so many ways, the functionality are endless. All the 38 pieces are clearly marked and arranged nicely in its carrying case, which makes it organized and keeps everything in place and also to see if everything is put back to ensure your not missing anything. The price point is in the mid range area, so if you looking for a impact socket set that has it all, this is a great option to have.
